At Hi Urban, safety is the foundation of our business. As height specialists, we carry out even the most demanding work in rope access, confined spaces and extreme conditions. We apply strict operating procedures, use modern equipment and adhere to international safety standards to ensure maximum protection for our employees and clients.
Team training and qualifications
Our staff are certified specialists holding IRATA (International Rope Access Trade Association) and SPRAT (Society of Professional Rope Access Technicians) qualifications. They regularly participate in training in the fields of:
- Confined space working – in accordance with health and safety regulations and OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards.
- Work in hazardous areas – in accordance with ATEX (Atmosphères Explosibles) standards
- First aid and height rescue – covers evacuation techniques and the provision of assistance in hard-to-reach places.
- Operation of high-pressure equipment and specialist tools – including Karcher HD/HDS pressure washers, sandblasting equipment and power tools certified for work at height.
Modern equipment and personal protective equipment
At Urban, we focus on the highest quality and safety. We use exclusively certified equipment from renowned brands that are industry leaders, such as Petzl and Singing Rock. Our equipment meets rigorous safety standards and is regularly serviced and subjected to detailed technical inspections.
We ensure that our employees have access to reliable safety systems, robust personal protective equipment and modern devices to assist them when working in difficult conditions. The equipment we use provides maximum protection when working at height, in confined spaces and in demanding environments.

Operating procedures and safety standards
Every order is fulfilled in accordance with rigorous standards and procedures, including:
- Compliance with international ISO standards:
- ISO 45001 – Occupational Health and Safety Management.
- ISO 9001 – quality management of services.
- ISO 14001 – environmental management system.
- Risk analysis and working conditions assessment - we carry out detailed inspections before commencing work.
- We operate in accordance with Safe Working Procedure (IBWR), which means that every stage of our operations is thoroughly planned and executed in accordance with the highest safety standards. Every project is preceded by a detailed risk analysis in order to eliminate hazards and ensure safe working conditions for our teams.
- Mandatory presence of the emergency team during complex operations.

- SOI – We carry out detailed inspections and checks of our equipment on a regular basis, in accordance with current safety standards. Every piece of equipment, from safety systems to personal protective equipment, is thoroughly checked for wear and tear and any damage. This ensures that our staff use only reliable and 100% safe equipment.
Insurance and liability
Safety is not just about prevention, but also proper protection in the event of unforeseen situations. At Hi Urban, we care about the full protection of both our employees and the property entrusted to us by our clients.
We hold commercial general liability (CGL) insurance, which covers damage resulting from work at height and in confined spaces. The sum insured is calculated and adjusted on a case-by-case basis to the value of the property entrusted to us, ensuring an optimal level of protection.
Additionally, our employees are covered by personal accident insurance (PAI), which guarantees financial support in the event of unforeseen incidents.
We also provide full liability for the entrusted property, ensuring our clients can be confident that their premises are fully secured and protected to the highest standard.
Our approach – Your safety

NCAGE Certificate
We have received the NCAGE (NATO Commercial and Government Entity) certificate, issued by the Military Centre for Standardisation, Quality and Codification. This is a unique identifier within the NCS (NATO Codification System) framework, which enables the unambiguous identification of economic entities cooperating with military and defence institutions.
Having an NCAGE number:
- confirms our company's compliance with NATO's formal and organisational requirements,
- enables registration in the SAM (System for Award Management) database – a prerequisite for participating in international tenders,
- enables the supply of products and services within the NATO Codification System,
- opens the way to cooperation with the Polish Armed Forces and other NATO member states.
Thanks to this, our company holds the status of an entity officially registered in the codification system, which guarantees transparency, security and the ability to deliver projects at the highest international level.
